Rotorua Ngongotaha Rail Trust 

The Rotorua Ngongotaha Rail Trust  has all the appropriate business and community skills to manage and drive the total operation. The primary role of the Trust is to manage, co-ordinate and maximising all the activities of the park to provide recreational, educational, environmental, ecological and social benefits to the community.

The Trust will also be involved in encouraging local Iwi, community and business groups to enhance their operations via Rail participation, thus also maximising all opportunities that will occur for our community.

The Rotorua Ngongotaha Rail Trust recognised it has now grown bigger than a volunteer organisation and to move forward they needed to adapt a more business like structure, ensuring that the growing administration, compliance, projects and events are managed in a professional, efficient and effective manner optimising all opportunities and networks.  This has lead the Trust to revise its Business Plan and operational structure.  The Trust Structure will take the following form:
